News from Toby

To all our friends at the Shelter; that includes the cats and dogs,

As some of you might know, we came by and adopted Toby on April 17th 2011. We promised Paul that we would send in a progress report and let you know how things are going with our new family format, 3 instead of 2.

These are some of Janice’s thoughts on the situation.

“Toby came into our life and is a dream come true.” We both are so happy to have him as part of our lives. Our days are ever so busy; we walk from early morning until 10 at night. At least 4 to 5 outings a day, a bit of a boot camp for us. That not being enough, we play ball a few times a day to work off his energy and then the daily grooming. My how he loves to be brushed and combed and then he requires to show his gratitude by kissing us and being kissed in return; quite a love affair.

We discovered that Toby has wonderful social skills, he loves going out to visit other families and he quickly becomes the center of attention. He truly is well behaved.”As much as his life is full and happy, our lives have also become more complete.”

In closing we thank everyone who makes the shelter possible, it has a profound effect on a lot of people as well as the animals who get a new chance in life. Thanks for all that you do to make good things happen.
