Remember the sled dog rescue last November? Well, it turns out the team at the SPCA LL not only saved 97 adult huskies and their 125 puppies from difficult living conditions, but also inspired a talented artist to create an artful ending to this heartwarming story. Ontarian painter Jacqueline Thibodeau was touched by the husky rescue and decided to paint three of the puppies right before their adoption. The artwork is called Relief and, as she says, it pays tribute to all of those who contribute to the well-being of dogs in spite of their race and their condition.
